Walt Disney Parks and Resorts has long been a leader in providing fantastic dining experiences for its guests with food allergies. They always pay close attention to detail to meet the special needs of those with dietary restrictions and dangerous, sometimes even life-threatening allergies.
Now, at approximately 120 quick-service and table-service locations through the Disneyland® and Walt Disney World® Resorts, you will have access to special allergen information for each menu item. This will help all guests make informed choices for their meal selections. Menu selection includes appetizers (where applicable), entrées, side items, desserts and kids’ meals, and focuses on the most common allergens, including gluten/wheat, milk, peanut, tree nut and fish.
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is the recipient of a FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education) Award for dedication to providing a safe and enjoyable dining experience for vacationing families. Their chefs have also been recognized for their commitment to food allergy awareness, education and management.
These menus are already available at all signature restaurants and will continue to roll out across the rest of the parks and resorts through September 2015. Guests are still encouraged to ask to speak with a chef when needed to address specific concerns.
